The Visionary
Petra is a passionate mompreneur, creative visionary, and fierce advocate for the growth and elevation of culture. As the founder of The Lit Twis’t, a mobile bookstore dedicated to championing Black women authors and female authors of color, she aims to inspire communities through the power of storytelling. Drawing from her experiences as an Air Force wife, moving every few years, Petra created The Lit Twis’t Mobile Bookstore to carry her culture, passion for books, and commitment to building community wherever life leads her.
In addition to being an astrologer, life coach, and community builder, Petra goes beyond bookshelves to create healing spaces and host events like Soulference and Haus of Soul Book Swap. Her vibrant leadership connects people, amplifies diverse voices, and nurtures cultural hubs in Phoenix and beyond. Petra is dedicated to making books an integral part of life, inspiring others to view literacy as the cornerstone of growth and meaningful connections.

Through playful storytelling and vibrant characters, Ase creates worlds where children feel seen, encouraged, and empowered to explore their emotions—without heavy-handed lessons or complicated language.
Happy Starville blends fun, accessible storytelling with gentle life lessons that help children build confidence, emotional awareness, and a love for reading. Each story invites young readers to dream big, embrace curiosity, and understand that their feelings and their voices matter.
Ase’s work is rooted in the belief that children’s literature should be both meaningful and magical books that entertain while quietly planting seeds of self-worth, empathy, and imagination.
